Key Responsibilities • Provide first-line technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote tools, resolving hardware and software issues. • Diagnose and troubleshoot common IT problems, including network connectivity, operating system errors, application failures, and peripheral device malfunctions. • Escalate complex technical issues to senior analysts or specialized teams when necessary, ensuring timely resolution. • Document all support interactions, resolutions, and configurations accurately in the help desk ticketing system. • Assist with onboarding new client systems and configuring workstations and other IT equipment. • Educate clients on best practices for IT usage and security, promoting self-service solutions where appropriate. • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills and stay current with industry trends. • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of internal knowledge base articles and client-facing FAQs. Required Skills • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite. • Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, basic troubleshooting). • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly. • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. • Customer-centric approach with a patient and professional demeanor. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • High level of initiative and a strong desire to learn new technologies. Preferred Qualifications • A relevant college degree, diploma, or certification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation). • Previous experience in a customer service role (any industry). • Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems. • Basic knowledge of cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace). • Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles.
