  "job_description": "Graduate Catastrophe Risk Analyst – Lloyd’s Market Reinsurer\n\nA growing Lloyd’s market reinsurer is seeking a Graduate Catastrophe Risk Analyst to join its Risk Analytics and Data Science team. This central function plays a key role in supporting exposure management, catastrophe modelling and data‑driven insights across multiple reinsurance classes.\n\nThis opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate with a degree in natural hazards, physical geography or a related discipline, who has strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in catastrophe risk and portfolio analytics. You will work closely with underwriting, actuarial and capital teams to analyse portfolio exposures, run and interpret catastrophe models, monitor accumulations and contribute to stress and scenario testing.\n\nYou will also work with large datasets, assist in developing analytical tools and dashboards, and help generate insights that support underwriting decisions.\n\nRequirements\n• Degree in natural hazards, physical geography or a related subject\n• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills\n• Keen interest in catastrophe modelling and risk analytics\n• Excellent Communication Skills\n• Full eligibility to work in the UK\n\nThis is a collaborative, development‑focused environment offering excellent early‑career exposure and the chance to build strong technical and commercial foundations.\n\nIf you have the relevant experience and wish to apply to this role please send your CV.
