Applicants can raise any queries to the email address at the bottom of the advert.\n\nWatch this short video to hear from members of Home Office Digital talking about the projects they work on and their experience of working here: Working for Home Office Digital.\n\nWhat you will do\n\nA Lead Performance Analyst is a thought leader within the Data Analysis community and leads the development of Performance Analysts at any level, coordinating teams or groups of related analysts.\n• Leading the development and consistency of performance measurement frameworks across multiple projects, ensuring these frameworks are aligned to business needs and strategy.\n• Exploiting opportunities through the recognition of new digital technologies to enhance analytical capability in alignment with business goals.\n• Interpreting complex KPIs translating them into simple, easy to understand, custom-made professional visuals.\n• Communicating service performance and analytical findings to internal and external senior stakeholders.\n• Identifying and telling actionable stories and business insights from data to stakeholders and the team, to inform user-centric design decisions.\n• Encouraging best practice by ensuring data integrity and proactively identifying improvements to current approaches.\n\nWhat you will bring\n• Effectively leading and managing multiple teams, ensuring quality assurance of analytical work and providing overarching guidance.\n• Turning complex data into valuable insights and solutions that inform decisions which are aligned to strategy, business goals and end user needs.\n• Presenting findings and complex tactical/strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders in a language which meets the needs of different users.\n• Analysing digital performance and managing the configuration and deployment of complex analytical tools and solutions.\n• Managing the design and exploitation of the relevant statistical techniques to report the accuracy of findings.\n• Validating / assuring analytics configurations and designing implementation protocols for analytics tools.\n• Using tools such as Google analytics, Google Tag Manager and Looker Studio.\n\nWhy join us:\n\nAt the Home Office, your work has real-world impact, shaping the safety and security of millions.
