  "job_description": "Senior Data Engineer – Snowflake, Dbt\n\nHybrid • 2 days onsite (London City office)\n\n90K + Bonus + Benefits\n\nOverview\n\nWe’re looking for a talented Data Engineer to join a well-known Broker that designs, builds, and delivers robust, scalable data solutions. You’ll collaborate across teams, work with modern data tooling, and help shape the data landscape that underpins our business.\n\nHands-on expertise with Snowflake and dbt is key for this role.\n\nThis position is hybrid and based in the London City office, with two days onsite each week.\n\nHow You’ll Make an Impact\n\nSQL Server Expertise\n• Deep knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL\n• Ability to query, optimise, and manage large datasets\n\nData Warehousing & Modelling\n• Strong understanding of data warehouse principles\n• Skilled in modelling concepts including normalization/denormalization\n\nETL / ELT Processes\n• Experience building and maintaining pipelines across varied data sources\n\nProblem-Solving\n• Comfortable troubleshooting discrepancies and performance issues\n• Collaborative approach to resolving user data challenges\n\nSecurity & Compliance\n• Awareness of data governance, GDPR, and secure data handling practices\n\nIndustry Understanding\n• Experience working with data in the insurance sector\n\nAbout You\n\nYou’ll bring:\n• Previous experience as a Data Engineer in insurance\n• Hands-on expertise with Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Dataiku, and ideally Collibra\n• Working knowledge of Azure technologies such as Synapse and DevOps\n• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server stack including MDS, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS\n• Familiarity with programming languages like Python and C# (preferred)\n\nSound good?\n\nAPPLY NOW!",
