  "job_description": "This position represents a fantastic opportunity to join a growing analytics function and play a central role in shaping the organisation’s business intelligence and data capabilities.\n\nWorking within Group Finance, you will design and deliver Power BI and Microsoft Fabric-based analytics solutions, transforming complex data into clear, actionable insight that supports strategic and operational decision-making across the business.\n\nAs a senior member of the BI team, you will help develop scalable reporting solutions, promote best practice in data modelling and visualisation, and support the continued adoption of self-service analytics.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n• Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards, reports and semantic models\n• Build and optimise data models using best-practice dimensional modelling techniques\n• Develop advanced DAX measures and calculations to support complex analytical requirements\n• Create intuitive and visually engaging dashboards that allow stakeholders to explore and interpret data effectively\n• Optimise report and dataset performance to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions\n• Contribute to the development of the organisation’s modern BI platform using Microsoft Fabric and the wider Microsoft data ecosystem\n• Work with data sources and pipelines including Fabric Lakehouse, Data Warehouse and Dataflows where applicable\n• Extract, transform and prepare data from multiple sources using SQL and Microsoft data tools\n• Develop automated pipelines and processes to support reliable and timely reporting\n• Analyse trends and performance data to generate meaningful insights and recommendations\n• Deliver both regular management reporting and ad-hoc analytical requests across the organisation\n• Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective analytical solutions\n• Promote best practice in dashboard design, reporting standards and self-service analytics\n• Support and mentor junior BI analysts and contribute to wider data and analytics initiatives\n\nEssential Skills\n• Strong experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports and semantic models\n• Advanced DAX skills for complex calculations and analytical measures\n• Solid experience using SQL to query, transform and integrate data\n• Strong understanding of data modelling principles, including relationships and hierarchies\n• Experience working with modern BI platforms such as Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud analytics technologies\n• Excellent data visualisation and dashboard design skills\n• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail\n• Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\nAdditional Information\n\nThis role offers a flexible working regime with hybrid working, typically two days per week in the office.\n\nSalary £55,000 - £60,000 plus benefits and excellent learning and development opportunities.\n• *At this stage, we can only accept applications from candidates who have ongoing UK right to work, as the client cannot offer immediate or longer-term sponsorship**",
