  "job_description": "Role overview\n\nThe FP&A Executive will be a key member of the newly established Group FP&A function, supporting the delivery of accurate, timely and insightful financial analysis across the business. This role will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and management reporting, helping drive data-led decision-making and supporting strategic initiatives.\n\nKey responsibilities\n• Prepare monthly management reports, including variance analysis, and board level presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.\n• Support group budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with finance business partners to gather and challenge assumptions.\n• Build, maintain and improve financial models to assist scenario planning and strategic decision-making.\n• Perform detailed analysis of financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.\n• Collaborate with the FP&A Manager to develop KPIs and dashboards for performance tracking, investigating variances and underlying drivers.\n• Deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support business cases, investment decisions and strategic projects.\n• Support financial due diligence process for M&A activity.\n• Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial systems and reports.\n• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance accuracy and automate reporting.\n\nSkills & qualifications\n• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar financial analysis role.\n• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n• Advanced Excel capability, including complex formulas and Power Query.\n• Experience in Power BI or similar data visualisation tools is desirable.\n• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to present complex data clearly.\n• Strong written and verbal communication skills.\n• Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.\n\nPersonal Attributes\n• Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.\n• Team player with a collaborative approach.\n• Commercially aware and business focused.\n\nWhy join us?\n\nAs a broader PLC group, we’ve doubled in size since 2019 and we have ambitions to maintain that growth profile moving forward, so we’re looking for people who want to help us shape our future.
