  "job_description": "Posted February 4, 2026\n\n£600 - £650 per day\n\nLondon/ Hybrid2 days per week in London\n\nContract\n\nData Analyst- London Markets- £600-£650 pd via Umbrella\n\nLondon/ Hybrid\n\nInitially for 6 months with long term potential\n\nWe are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join a major Underwriting (UW) transformation programme. Working closely with programme leadership, data architects, and the Opex team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future-state data landscape and improving data-driven operational processes.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n• Conduct deep insight into the current-state data environment, including data sources, definitions, quality, and usage\n• Partner with the Data Architect to design the target data structure and governance framework\n• Work closely with the Opex team to support process improvement and transformation using robust data models, data dictionaries, and lineage documentation\n• Map data across systems, particularly where naming conventions and structures differ\n• Build and maintain a comprehensive programme-wide data dictionary\n• Understand and document schemas and demonstrate how they interact across platforms\n• Investigate and address known gaps in existing capabilities, especially across ETL processes and cross-system data consistency\n\nSkills/experience:\n• Strong experience working with complex data landscapes\n• Experience of working within the London Markets sector is essential\n• Excellent analytical and documentation skills\n• Proven SQL skills\n• Familiarity with data modelling, lineage tracing, and data governance principles\n• Experience with ETL processes and cross-system data mapping\n\nReasonable Adjustments:\n\nRespect and equality are core values to us.
