  "job_description": "Risk and Controls Analyst - JP Morgan - Bournemouth - 6 months contract - Onsite - PAYE\n\nWe are seeking a number of Risk and Controls Analysts with Controls Testing experience to join JP Morgan on an initial 6 months contract in Bournemouth where you will be trained with the skills required to become a Conrols and Substantive Testing Performer.\n\nYou will contribute to the Testing Centre of Excellent 's overall success and strengthen the firm's compliance with regulatory obligations and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in controls testing and strong stakeholder engagement.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n• Lead comprehensive control evaluations and substantive testing to assess design and effectiveness of controls in Corporate Functions, ensuring compliance with policies, laws, and regulations\n• Develop and execute detailed test scripts and procedures, document results with justification, draw conclusions, recommend remediations, and distribute review reports\n• Foster collaboration with Compliance and Operational Risk Officers, facilitating issue discussions, business meetings, and final report drafting for alignment\n• Apply critical thinking to evaluate high-risk processes, identify improvement areas, and proactively assess/monitor risks against firm standards, regulations, and best practices\n• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance control environment, including CORE application updates, and drive initiatives for operational efficiency\n• Lead meetings with business owners to present results, recommend sustainable enhancements, and capitalize on opportunities to strengthen controls\n\nWhat You Bring\n• Experienced in compliance, audit, and controls, with any relevant compliance background\n• Experience in risk management, control evaluations, or related fields (financial services preferred), with knowledge of industry standards and regulations\n• Strong analytical skills to assess complex issues, develop risk mitigation strategies, and communicate recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders\n• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with proven success managing priorities in fast-paced environments\n• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences\n\nWhat's Next\n\nIf you are ready to take the next step, apply now!
