  "job_description": "Senior Finance Analyst\n\n£42,000pa\n\nEccles - Hybrid Working\n\nWe are supporting a fantastic client based in Eccles looking for an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join their team in a full time permanent opportunity.\n\nThis opportunity does offer hybrid working (2 days a week WFH) after a successful probation period.\n\nAs a Senior Finance Analyst you will oversees the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) function within the Transactional Finance Department, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations. This role involves supervising the P2P team to guarantee the timely completion of supplier statement reconciliations and vendor payments across multiple legal entities.\n\nThis position is also responsible for investigating and resolving both internal and external payment queries or discrepancies to ensure that all vendors are paid accurately and on schedule. In addition, the role contributes to the integrity of the monthly financial close by supporting the accrual process and carrying out sub-ledger risk reviews.\n\nAs a senior member of the team, lead a group of experienced analysts and administrative staff, promoting a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-quality service delivery for both internal departments and external suppliers.\n\nResponsibilities as a Senior Finance Analyst:\n• Lead the (P2P) function and manage the payables operation.\n• Support the development and performance management of the P2P team to strengthen service delivery.\n• Set aligned objectives for team members, manage day-to-day performance, and conduct regular updates and annual performance reviews.\n• Ensure payment runs, daily payments, and expense transactions are processed accurately and approved within required timelines.\n• Conduct monthly ledger reviews with analysts to monitor performance and resolve reconciling items and debit balances.\n• Assist the Transactional Finance Manager with monthly reporting requirements.\n• Support the Management Accounts team to ensure a complete and accurate accrual process.\n• Work with the Transactional Finance Manager to design and implement improved processes and procedures that enhance operational efficiency.\n\nRequirements of the role:\n• Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and industry best practices.\n• Strong analytical and reconciliation capabilities with a focus on accuracy and financial control.\n• Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.\n• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.\n• Proven ability to work under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines.",
