The Vacancy This is a Central Office role in London (Hybrid – 2-3 days in our office) Help build the systems and insights that support people – and help children thrive We’re looking for a People Systems and Data Analyst This is a newly created role sitting at the intersection of People (HR), data and technology. You’ll play a key role in strengthening how we manage, connect and use our People systems and data across the organisation. You’ll ensure our HR systems run smoothly, our data is accurate and meaningful, and that the People team and leadership have the insights they need to make informed decisions. From system configuration and automation to reporting and data governance, you’ll help build the foundations that enable our teams to operate effectively. What You’ll Be Doing Owning and improving People systems • Act as the systems owner for our HRIS, Payroll, Recruitment, LMS and other People tools • Manage system configuration including workflows, templates, permissions, integrations and updates • Work closely with IT and external providers to troubleshoot issues and manage system enhancements • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline People processes using our systems • Document business processes and system workflows and create clear user guides • Provide user training, guidance and first-line support for People systems queries Protecting data integrity and governance • Act as the gatekeeper for People data accuracy, consistency and governance • Conduct regular data audits and lead cleansing activities where needed • Manage and understand how data flows between systems to maintain structural integrity • Ensure compliance with GDPR and internal data governance standards • Maintain high-quality, trusted People data across systems Delivering reporting, analytics and insight • Develop and maintain People reports and dashboards, including use of data visualisation tools such as Power BI (desirable) • Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting to the People team and leadership • Analyse workforce data to identify trends, risks and opportunities • Translate data into meaningful insights that support discussion and action • Support board reporting, workforce planning and strategic decision-making Supporting the employee lifecycle • Support People processes such as probation reviews and engagement surveys through effective system use • Assist with analysing onboarding, engagement and exit survey feedback relating to systems and processes Building strong partnerships • Work closely with People Operations, Payroll, Recruitment, Compliance, L&D and IT teams • Act as the bridge between People and IT on system and data initiatives • Partner with external vendors to manage system support and improvements • Support wider HR transformation and digital improvement initiatives We’re Looking For Someone Who… Has the right experience and skills • Experience working with HRIS, ATS, LMS or similar People systems • Experience producing HR or People reports and analysing data • Strong understanding of data accuracy, audits and cleansing • Experience using data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI or equivalent) • Ability to understand system workflows and data structures • Strong communication skills, able to explain data to non-technical stakeholders Brings the behaviours that make this role shine • Analytical and detail-focused with strong accountability for data quality • Systems-savvy with curiosity about how processes and technology can improve • Collaborative and able to build trusted relationships across teams • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to solve system or data challenges • Organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment • Customer-focused with a desire to improve the user experience of systems It would be great if you also had • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, logical functions) • Experience writing process documentation or system guides • Experience working in a scaling or evolving organisation • A qualification in HR, Data Analytics, Information Systems or similar Why you’ll love working at LEYF • Be part of an organisation making a genuine difference to children and families • Help shape how data and systems support our people and leadership teams • Work in a values-led, people-centred culture • Hybrid working with a supportive central team • 70% childcare discount for your children or grandchildren • 26 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays and your birthday off • 7% employer pension contribution We welcome you exactly as you are A diverse team makes us stronger.
