To support this need, helping maintain operational efficiency and leverage our data assets to gain insights and drive decision making, A&M has invested in growing its Business Intelligence Unit (BIU). The BIU creates new data pipelines, constructs analysis, builds visualization tools and low-code applications that deliver real-time information and insights to the business, and helps the business realize operational efficiencies identified in analysis.\n\nThe firm is now looking for a London based Associate to join its Analytics, Reporting and Tools team and contribute to this strategic initiative. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with various data sources and technologies, develop and maintain dashboards, reports and applications, and provide analytical support to senior stakeholders across the firm.\n\nHow you'll contribute\n\nThe job will involve gathering business needs, transforming data and building/creating management information systems as well as presenting analysis and driving results. The person will collaborate across all internal support functions and global business lines to increase operational effectiveness and find ways to grow revenue. The role is hybrid with office attendance being mandatory 2 days per week.\n• Collect, clean, and transform data from various sources and systems into meaningful insights and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, SQL and Python.\n• Work with business partners and other stakeholders to create new tools and enhance internal processes through creation of user-facing applications or implementation of automated workflows.\n• Conduct analysis to identify and quantify efficiency, cost reduction, revenue growth, and risk mitigation using data-driven approaches and statistical techniques.\n• Work to continually enhance existing toolset through review, refinement and documentation.\n• Communicate and present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders using clear and concise language and visuals.\n• Keep up with the latest trends and tools in artificial intelligence, and data science, and apply them to solve business problems and generate value.\n\nSkills and qualifications:\n• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience\n• Basic knowledge of SQL and/or other coding language (Python, R)\n• Understanding of Power BI and/or other data visualisation software\n• A strong knowledge of SQL with experience in data modelling and working with relational databases\n• Proficiency in additional coding language a plus\n• Experience with other Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate)\n• Experience conducting user-centered design\n• Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail\n• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders\n• A solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, such as regression, clustering, and hypothesis testing\n• An entrepreneurial spirit; not afraid to challenge the status-quo\n\nYour journey at A&M\n\nWe recognize that our people are the driving force behind our success, which is why we prioritize an employee experience that fosters each person’s unique professional and personal development.
