East Midlands (England), East of England, London (region), North East England, North West England, South East England, South West England, Wales, West Midlands (England), Yorkshire and the Humber Job Summary This is a Nationally based role Job Description HMPPS Band 5 - CT Regional Intelligence Analyst The role will cover the North East, Yorkshire and Humberside and will form part of the wider East Intelligence Team (which covers East of England, East Midlands, North East, Yorkshire and Humberside). The role involves significant travel across the North East, Yorkshire and Humberside as well as wider ad hoc travel. The previous postholder is on Area Based Posting. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the counter terrorism field. The role is focused in the Community CT space but there will be some opportunity to be involved also in thematic and custody work. Working closely with partners across law enforcement and probation colleagues, the post holder will have SME across CT and Intelligence matters, providing assessment to support the management of offenders. The role is relatively new and continues to develop, so there will be some opportunity to be involved in that as well as wider project work once established etc. The job holder must act with the highest levels of personal and professional integrity and champion these qualities in others. They must be vetted to Developed Vetting (DV) level as a minimum before commencing in post and will be required to obtain STRAP clearance as soon as practicable.
