  "job_description": "Job Title: Sustainability Analyst\n\nLocation: Cambridge | Hybrid working (4 days office / 1 day home)\n\nSalary: £29,000 - £36,000 DOE\n\nHSE Recruitment are currently supporting a leading UK machinery distribution and after-sales business, supplying and supporting equipment used across construction, infrastructure, quarrying, agriculture, and road-building projects nationwide. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly analytical sustainability or environmental professional (or strong graduate) looking to work across ESG data, environmental performance, quality, fleet, and health & safety within an operational business environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n• Collecting, analysing and interpreting compliance and environmental data\n• Supporting internal ISO audits and external audit preparation\n• Producing evidence-based reports and performance insights\n• Supporting ESG and sustainability initiatives\n• Driving continuous improvement across fleet, facilities and compliance functions\n• Working cross-functionally with senior managers and directors\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n• Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering or similar discipline\n• Strong analytical mindset with evidence-based approach\n• Understanding of ISO standards and compliance frameworks\n• Accuracy-focused and highly detail-oriented\n• Confident working with data and producing meaningful reports\n• Internal audit experience desirable\n• Right to work in the UK (no time-limited visa)\n\nOpen to strong graduates with the right calibre and aptitude, or candidates with some relevant experience.
