  "job_description": "Technical Business Analyst (Data)\n\n6 Months Contract\n\nEdinburgh (hybrid)\n\nVia Umbrella\n\nOur UK leading pension client are currently looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.\n\nRole Requirements\n\nIndustry Experience\n• Strong background in Financial Services, ideally with experience in Asset Management (highly beneficial).\n\nRegulatory Expertise\n• Proven experience delivering work within a regulatory environment, including interpreting regulatory needs and ensuring compliance within technology or data solutions.\n\nBusiness-Tech Translation\n• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for development teams.\n• Skilled in working closely with product owners, SMEs, developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.\n\nAgile Delivery\n• Must have hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum sprint teams, contributing to ceremonies and supporting iterative delivery.\n\nTechnical & Data Skills\n• Highly technical and data-focused.\n• Strong working knowledge of SQL (e.g., data analysis, querying, validation, reconciliation).\n• Comfortable working with data models, pipelines, and translating data needs into actionable deliverables.\n\nGuidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.",
