This is an exciting opportunity to join a high‑performing finance function within a global organisation and play a pivotal role in driving business performance. The Opportunity As an FP&A Analyst, you’ll support a nationwide operational network, working closely with Finance Business Partners and operational leaders to deliver high‑quality financial analysis, accurate reporting and meaningful performance insight. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining analytical rigour with strong commercial partnership. What You’ll Do • Produce monthly performance reporting for a multi‑site UK network, helping the business understand key revenue and cost drivers. • Partner with operational teams to review, analyse and explain variances against budget, forecast and prior year, offering insight that informs decision making. • Use business intelligence tools to generate clear, meaningful insight for Finance Business Partners. • Provide data, trend analysis and commentary for Monthly Performance Dashboards and Trading Reviews. • Prepare weekly revenue and cost flash estimates, highlighting expected outcomes and risks at month end. • Support the FP&A team with the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long‑term strategic plans. • Deliver ad‑hoc financial analysis, gathering data, validating assumptions and building models and reports for senior stakeholders. • Assist the Regional Finance Controller with quarterly inventory counts, including attendance at selected depot locations. What You’ll Bring • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance role with strong analytical responsibilities and cross‑functional stakeholder engagement. • Demonstrated experience supporting financial reporting cycles, developing financial models, analysing trends and contributing to forecasting processes. • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑finance audiences. • Experience working with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools. • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. • Comfortable operating within a global, geographically dispersed business. • High professional integrity and confidence in handling sensitive information. • Strong sense of ownership, accountability and attention to detail.
