You’ll transform complex data into actionable recommendations for senior leaders, with a strong focus on sales performance, market dynamics, customer behaviour and competitive positioning.\n\nAs an HSBC employee in the UK, you’ll have access to tailored professional development opportunities and a competitive pay and benefits package. This includes private healthcare for all UK-based employees, enhanced maternity and adoption pay and support when you return to work, and a contributory pension scheme with a generous employer contribution.\n\nIn this role you’ll:\n• Partner with Business Management, Sales teams and with Data & Analytics teams to design and develop the insights strategy\n• Lead data-led sales pipeline reporting and use analysis and feedback from Sales and Client Management to identify potential new business opportunities, revenue risks and conversion trends across regions, sectors, and products\n• Review sales manager productivity analysis to provide insights to performance drivers, capacity utilisation and effectiveness\n• Develop wallet share and drive consistent product penetration analysis to uncover cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing client portfolios\n• Develop segmentation analysis to right-size customer portfolios\n• Perform market share calculations using internal and external data sources to assess competitive positioning by product, client segment and geography\n• Develop insights from colleague surveys on culture and leadership performance, establishing actionable insights from trend analysis and supporting senior leaders to assess improvements\n• Establish best practice for insight generation and data quality\n\nTo be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:\n• Exceptional data storytelling and stakeholder communication skills\n• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable working with large, complex datasets\n• Strong experience in business intelligence, analytics, strategy or commercial insights within banking and financial services.\n• Proven experience of delivering executive-level insights that influence strategic or commercial decisions\n• Experience of developing Visualisation tools\n\nOpening up a world of opportunity.\n\nBeing open to different points of view is important for our business and the communities we serve.
