As the business continues to grow, we are strengthening our data and insight capability and are now looking for an MI Developer to join the Service Delivery team.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong MI professional who enjoys transforming complex data into meaningful insight that supports better decision-making across the business.\n\nThe Role\n\nReporting to the Associate Director of Service Delivery, the MI Developer will play a key role in delivering high-quality management information and data insight for both internal stakeholders and external customers.\n\nYou will work closely with the business to understand reporting requirements, build scalable dashboards and reports, and ensure data is translated into clear, actionable intelligence that helps teams monitor performance and make informed decisions.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\n• Designing and developing high-quality reports and dashboards using Power BI and SQL\n• Working directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver new reporting solutions\n• Analysing complex datasets and transforming them into clear management information and insights\n• Producing monthly KPI and KRI reporting in line with contractual and business requirements\n• Performing data analysis using SQL, Power BI and Databricks\n• Identifying data quality issues and developing exception reporting to support data governance\n• Supporting the organisation’s move toward a self-service MI environment, including providing guidance and training to users\n• Proactively identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and data efficiency\n• Ensuring all reporting aligns with regulatory, compliance, information security and FCA requirements\n\nEssential Skills\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n• Strong experience with Power BI, SQL, and Databricks\n• Proven ability to develop dashboards, reports and data visualisations for business users\n• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills\n• Ability to manage multiple reporting requests in a fast-paced environment\n• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business insight\n• Experience working directly with stakeholders to define reporting requirements\n\nPersonal Attributes\n\nCollaborative and comfortable working in a team-based environment\n• Able to work independently and remotely when required\n• A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach\n• Strong organisational skills and the ability to deliver under pressure\n• Why Join Markerstudy?\n• Join a fast-growing, data-driven insurance group\n• Work on business-critical reporting and analytics\n• Collaborate with teams across the organisation to deliver meaningful insight and performance monitoring\n• Be part of a culture that encourages innovation, improvement and collaboration\n\nIf you're passionate about data, insight and building impactful MI solutions, we’d love to hear from you.",
