We specialise in modern engineering practices and pride ourselves on our ability to deliver secure, scalable, high-impact technology outcomes.\n\nOverview\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Security Business Analyst to join us on a 12-month FTC, supporting a key central government client. This role will play a critical part in supporting the post go-live service design, testing, and transition of Security Architecture and Security Management & Assurance service lines. You will work closely with security, architecture, and delivery teams to ensure services are robust, compliant, and fully operational.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n• Support the development of detailed service design documentation, including processes, procedures, operating models, and performance measures\n• Assist in defining and documenting: Security architecture principles, standards, and governance frameworks\n• Access control models (e.g. IAM, SSO, RBAC)\n• Ensure alignment with regulatory and security standards (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, Secure by Design)\n• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) activities\n• Contribute to service transition planning, including acceptance criteria and readiness for live service\n• Work with stakeholders to ensure security services are scalable, compliant, and fit for purpose\n\nExperience Required\n• Proven experience as a Security Analyst or Business Analyst within complex environments\n• Strong experience in service process mapping and requirements definition\n• Knowledge of security standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, Secure by Design)\n• Experience working within central government or secure environments\n• Experience supporting testing phases (UAT/OAT) and service transition\n\nDesirable:\n• Experience working with large-scale Oracle ERP platforms\n• Knowledge of Oracle RBAC and RMC\n\nKey Skills\n• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills\n• Detail-oriented with a structured approach to documentation and analysis\n• Comfortable working in complex, regulated environments\n• Proactive and able to work independently within delivery teams\n\nWhy Join Amber Labs?\n• Opportunity to work on a high-profile central government programme\n• Collaborative, delivery-focused environment\n• Work alongside experienced security and transformation professionals\n\nImportant Information\n• Active SC Clearance is required\n• Candidates must have recent central government experience\n• This is a hybrid role with travel to Manchester, Leeds, or Newcastle required twice weekly",
