  "job_description": "Junior IT Business Analyst - 12-month FTC\n\nUK based - Hybrid\n\n45,000\n\nBrief\n\nJunior IT Business Analyst needed for a well know Facilities Management organisation which can be based out of any UK office on a hybrid work set up who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Junior IT Business Analyst that takes pride in their work.\n\nThis role is designed for individuals at the early stages of their Business Analysis career.\n\nThe IT Business Analyst will support the IT BA team in understanding business problems, documenting requirements, mapping processes, and contributing to digital transformation initiatives across the organization.\n\nThe successful candidate will learn core BA methodologies while working with experienced analysts, solution architects, and project teams, gaining hands on experience, structured development, and opportunities to grow within a collaborative BA community.\n\nBenefits\n• Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 per annum\n• 24 day's holiday\n• Pension Plan\n• Career Progression\n\nWhat the role entails:\n\nSome of the main duties of the Junior IT Business Analyst will include:\n• Build foundational understanding of systems and processes.\n• SAP knowledge is beneficial, but not essential; training and exposure will be provided.\n• Participate in workshops, meetings, and requirement-gathering sessions.\n• Assist in reviewing supplier and project documentation.\n• Gather, analyse, validate, and document business requirements.\n• Support business process mapping, gap analysis, and requirements definition.\n• Create and maintain documentation such as requirements lists, process flows, workshop outputs, and other artefacts.\n• Work with Senior BAs, IT teams, and stakeholders to understand challenges and explore solutions.\n• Participate in workshops, meetings, and discussions to capture information accurately.\n• Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to understand needs\n• Provide administrative and analytical support for IT projects.\n• Develop BA skills through mentoring, project exposure, and collaboration with senior colleagues.\n\nWhat experience you need to be the successful Junior IT Business Analyst:\n• Analytical mindset with the ability to break down problems.\n• Attention to detail.\n• Basic understanding of process mapping or willingness to learn.\n• Basic understanding of requirements gathering or willingness to learn.\n• Problem solving mindset with a proactive approach to learning.\n• Experience or exposure to SAP is advantageous but not required.\n• Analytical mindset with the ability to break down problems.\n• Attention to detail.\n• Basic understanding of process mapping or willingness to learn.\n• Basic understanding of requirements gathering or willingness to learn.\n• Problem solving mindset with a proactive approach to learning.\n\nThis really is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior IT Business Analyst to progress their career.
