  "job_description": "Senior Business Analyst – Commodities Expertise Required\n\n6-Month Contract | Inside IR35 | Hybrid - London\n\nOur client, a leading Investment company, is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the launch of new products and key strategic initiatives. This is a hands-on role requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Operations, Risk, and Technology to gather requirements, analyse processes, and support the successful delivery of business and technology change.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead structured requirements gathering, documenting and analysing as-is and to-be processes in line with organisational standards.\n\nWork closely with stakeholders, SMEs, and change teams across multiple departments to assess impacts on business processes, systems, and technology.\n\nAnalyse existing policies, data requirements, and systems to identify cross-functional requirements supporting new product initiatives.\n\nCollaborate with business and technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirements and consider operational impacts.\n\nContribute to the planning, execution, and delivery of business analysis activities within a Matrix programme environment.\n\nProvide clear and transparent status updates to programme leadership and key stakeholders.\n\nProactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies across project workstreams.\n\nMaintain and update SOPs and supporting documentation, ensuring continuous improvement in processes.\n\nEngage with stakeholders to ensure clear communication, alignment, and expectation management throughout the project life cycle.\n\nRequired Experience\n\nDemonstrable business analysis experience in a Clearing House, Exchange, Member Firm, or ETD department within a bank is essential.\n\n10+ years' experience working as a Senior Business Analyst in a Clearing House, Exchange, Member Firm or ETD department within a bank.\n\nStrong experience gathering requirements, analysing business processes, and producing clear documentation.\n\nProven ability to work with business and technology stakeholders to deliver complex initiatives.\n\nExperience supporting product launches, change initiatives, or transformation programmes.\n\nStrong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.\n\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.\n\nExperience working with collaboration and project tools such as Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, and JIRA.\n\nUnderstanding of Agile and other project management methodologies.\n\nQualifications\n\nDegree or equivalent experience.\n\nProfessional certifications such as PRINCE2, MSP, APM, or PMP",
