  "job_description": "Robert Half is recruiting for a PeopleSoft Finance & General Ledger Senior Analyst to provide expert support, maintenance, and continuous improvement for PeopleSoft Finance systems.\n• *This role is outside IR35**\n\nLocation: London (Hybrid)\n\nContract: 12 Months\n\nStart Date: ASAP\n\nDay Rate: outside IR35\n\nKey Responsibilities\n• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for PeopleSoft General Ledger processes including journals, ledgers, allocations, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.\n• Maintain the integrity and performance of the General Ledger environment, identifying and resolving issues when they arise.\n• Provide functional support for incidents, queries, and service requests relating to PeopleSoft GL.\n• Investigate and resolve issues escalated from the offshore AMS support team, coordinating with technical teams where necessary.\n• Support integration points between GL and related modules such as AP, AR, and Purchasing.\n• Work closely with finance stakeholders to diagnose issues, identify solutions, and coordinate resolutions.\n• Collaborate on VAT changes and cross-module process updates.\n• Support data preparation activities related to the future SAP transition.\n• Assist with testing activities for both PeopleSoft enhancements and SAP migration initiatives.\n• Troubleshoot issues across development and production environments.\n• Perform month-end and year-end system checks to ensure processing and batch jobs have completed successfully.\n• Build strong relationships with business users and provide guidance on reporting, audit requests, and system changes.\n• Gather business requirements from stakeholder meetings and translate them into actionable outcomes or change requests.\n• Prioritise requests and coordinate with offshore teams where appropriate.\n• Provide operational guidance to business users on completing system tasks when needed.\n• Maintain strong working relationships with regional and global PeopleSoft teams, IT teams, and business stakeholders.\n\nKey Skills & Experience\n\nEssential\n• Experience with PeopleSoft Finance 8.4, particularly General Ledger\n• Strong understanding of General Ledger processes, financial reporting, and integration with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Purchasing\n• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex functional issues\n• Ability to communicate effectively with both finance stakeholders and IT teams\n• SQL skills\n• English and Polish language skills required (additional languages beneficial)\n\nIf this is of interest please apply or send CV to taryn.seidle@roberthalf.co.uk.",
