This role is ideal for someone who loves turning data into insight, improving customer journeys, and shaping eCommerce performance. About The Role You’ll lead our website analytics capability, becoming the expert for insight, customer behaviour, and optimisation. Working closely with the eCommerce Manager and teams across product, UX, marketing, and commercial, you’ll build reporting, analyse performance, and identify opportunities to improve engagement and conversion. Your work will cover the full digital ecosystem including attribution, user behaviour, and integrations with OMS, payment gateways and marketing tools, ensuring decisions are guided by accurate, meaningful data. What You’ll Be Doing • Define and communicate KPIs across traffic, engagement and conversion. • Deliver regular performance reporting for the business. • Act as a senior point of contact for analytics queries. • Investigate performance shifts with clear, data-led insight. • Conduct deep-dive analysis using GA4, ContentSquare, Power BI and SQL. • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks. • Ensure accurate data capture via analytics and tag management tools. • Provide insights to improve conversion and user journeys. • Support A/B and multivariate testing. • Apply best practice across change management and documentation. Additional desirable contributions include campaign tracking, customer journey analysis, sharing best practice, and supporting new analytics tools. What You’ll Bring • Expertise in GA4 or similar analytics platforms. • Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel/Google Sheets. • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing tools. • Clear communication skills across all audiences and stakeholders. • High attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Ability to solve complex problems with data-driven solutions. Desirable • Data modelling experience. • Confident SQL skills with experience with XML, JSON, APIs. • Hands-on use of Google Tag Manager or similar tools. • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JS and ecommerce platforms. • Familiarity with ERP/OMS/WMS systems. • Experience working in Agile or Waterfall environments.
