  "job_description": "The purpose of the Business Analyst (BA) role is to ensure that IT solutions effectively address business needs by acting as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams. The BA ensures that business objectives are clearly defined, understood, and translated into functional and technical requirements that guide system development and implementation.\n\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\n• Strong understanding of “As is” business processes, ability to define new processes, capture and re-engineer as required to meet requirements.\n• Help to build and educate the business around roadmaps, prioritisation, and manage expectations.\n• Support the business in the delivery of its change management by working closely with internal customers to identify, record and track requirements, including identifying and resolving conflicts between them.\n• Identify and analyse where the business requires systems improvements, document and outline challenges, their impacts and the benefits of initiating a change in a system/process.\n• Defining and documenting business solution designs that incorporate the to-be business processes to support business readiness and delivery, including testing and training.\n• Use a range of approaches to analyse processes, procedures and customer journeys.\n• Work well with project managers, change managers and senior leaders to propose and influence successful solutions.\n• Create data-driven and customer-led proposals in continuous improvements and process redesign\n• Alignment of business processes with IT systems, evaluating if they meet requirements.\n\nKEY EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS\n• Strong understanding of business process improvements with the ability to produce high-quality output.\n• Proven experience in business case creation/validation of business needs, requirements and feasibility to determine technically, operationally and economically viable.\n• Experience of project initiation and/or discovery.\n• Solid experience of working in dynamic environments and maintaining detailed artefacts that clearly highlight the business process, requirements and risks.\n• Effective decision making.\n• Effective communication skills engaging a wide range of internal customers.\n• Strong understanding of change management process.\n\nPlease note this role is offered as a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months.",
