Asset Data Analyst Contract: Government Location: Birmingham, B37 7YN Hours: 40 per week Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months) Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking an Asset Data Analyst to support the AV DV Senior Data Analysts within the AVDV Programme. Job Overview This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and technical quality of asset and contract data across the programme. The Asset Data Analyst will play a key part in reviewing and validating asset information, ensuring alignment with contract deliverables, compliance requirements, and engineering standards. Working as part of a high‑performing team, you will support the management of asset data workflows, contribute to quality‑assurance processes, and maintain data integrity throughout various systems and reporting activities. The position requires strong analytical skills, deep technical understanding of hard services, and proficiency with relevant coding frameworks such as SFG20 and Uniclass. Key Responsibilities • Support all Asset Data Management activities defined within the AVDV Programme. • Review core asset and survey data for technical accuracy and alignment with contract requirements. • Ensure all data complies with statutory, legal, and engineering standards, following established data entry procedures. • Manage data imports and exports covering asset data, maintenance job plans, schedules, SFG20 and non‑SFG procedures, and planned/remedial works. • Maintain accurate mapping of assets, building systems, job plans, and procedures in line with internal coding and naming conventions. • Uphold strict change control processes and version management for all data updates. • Prepare, review, and quality‑assure asset collection and verification reports and datasets. • Conduct QA checks on data returns to confirm compliance with contract deliverables and core data requirements. Person Specification • Strong MS Office skills, with advanced Excel capability (complex formulas and functions). • Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, VBA, or macros (advantageous). • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and quality. • Experience working with CAFM systems (desirable). • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders. • Solid technical understanding and practical experience of SFG20. • Self‑driven and proactive, able to operate effectively within a high‑performing team.
