Working collaboratively across internal teams and with client analytics teams to show how our campaigns deliver against brand and business objectives. The Mid-Weight Performance Data Analyst is expected to bring robust measurement knowledge, contribute to evolving data-driven strategies and act as a trusted partner to internal teams and to clients at Buttermilk. Key Role Responsibilities • Deliver and present campaign reports in order to tell a cohesive story of performance, learnings and future optimisations. • Develop an in-depth knowledge of a client’s data across campaign, brand and business (when relevant), to provide a holistic measurement of our creator campaigns. • Laddering campaign data up to KPIs and wider client objectives to demonstrate how our creator campaigns have driven brand and business impact. • Work with clients internal analytics team to supplement any campaign performance with relevant client data to enhance measurement. • Uphold and evolve measurement frameworks and KPI setting, adhering to data best practices to ensure consistency and accuracy. • Transform complex datasets into clear narratives and client deliverables, whether an email, dashboard or fully fleshed report. • Stay on top of platform changes, specifically around measurement, and assess data sources and emerging technological solutions to drive forward our capabilities. • Provide data and measurement support on proposals and new business pitches. Required Experience & Skills • Relevant 3-4 years experience within a data-led or analytical role in marketing or media, agency experience preferred. • Proficiency in SQL, LookerStudio and Excel/Google Sheets, comfortable with formulas, querying and manipulating large data sets. • Experience in Python is an advantage. • Understanding organic social media measurement is essential, with paid social understanding an advantage. Proficiency reporting across but not limited to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. • An inquisitive and analytical mindset, focused on performance with an interest in social/creator, media effectiveness or marketing more broadly. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to adapt content and tone to different audiences and articulate complex data findings. • Excellent time management and organisational skills with a high attention to detail, able to balance data quality and rigour, with pragmatic delivery in fast paced environments.
