This executive will be tasked with owning the end‑to‑end technology agenda and setting strategy, drive transformation and ensure technology aligns with architecture, data and security requirements while enabling operational resilience and regulatory compliance.\n\nKey Accountabilities:\n• Strategic leadership: Shape and execute a multi‑year technology roadmap for governance and regulatory functions, balancing in‑house development and vendor solutions while anticipating changes in the risk and compliance landscape.\n• Portfolio ownership: Act as the single point of accountability for the control‑function technology portfolio. Build senior stakeholder relationships, oversee programme delivery and ensure all solutions are auditable and meet regulatory expectations.\n• Estate governance: Govern investments and the application estate, driving standardisation, rationalisation and cost efficiency across platforms and instituting metrics for resilience, risk and value realisation.\n• Data & innovation: Champion data‑driven decision making, automation and AI to streamline oversight processes and improve monitoring and insight, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.\n\nIdeal Candidate:\n• Seasoned leader with a track record delivering technology transformations in regulated sectors such as banking or insurance.\n• Deep understanding of governance, regulatory and assurance disciplines and the frameworks that support them.\n• Deep understanding of how regulatory obligations (e.g., MiFID II, GDPR, AML/KYC, SOX, operational risk) translate into operating models, controls and technology needs.
