  "job_description": "This exciting opportunity will provide key analytical support to a fast-paced commercial function, delivering forecast appraisals, insight and strategy to ensure the business remains competitive.As a Commercial Analyst you will analyse multiple data sources and provide strategic insight to drive efficiency and optimisation, whilst supplying finance teams with commercial MI to support planning and growth initiatives.Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Optimising revenue streams through detailed analysis and forecasting potential revenue performance against targetsAnalysing activity data (new and existing demand, repeat business and competitor activity) and presenting insights to senior stakeholders to drive positive commercial changeDelivering revenue analysis to support pricing strategy, maximise available inventory and identify new market opportunitiesProviding broader market insight, including economic and external factors that may influence demand and trading conditionsReviewing business plans, identifying performance gaps and supporting proactive strategies to maximise capacity and meet revenue targetsMonitoring competitor activity and making recommendations for the management team to respond effectivelySkills & ExperienceExperience in a commercial analyst role with a proven ability to produce meaningful analysis and use insight to drive business decisionsStrong analytical skills with the ability to apply forecasting techniques to large data setsExperience presenting data and insights to non-technical audiencesAbility to interpret key business indicators and competitive trends to develop analytically led recommendationsExcellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competi",
