  "job_description": "Software Developer\n\nAnnual Salary: £40k - £45k, dependent on experience\n\nLocation: Cannon Street, London\n\nJob Type: Permanent - 4 days a week onsite\n\nStart Date: ImmediatelyA new exciting permanent opportunity, for a Software Developer to join an exciting financial bridging loan, property lender organisation in an exciting phase of growth and are now seeking to develop and implement a highly automated lending process. They are currently building an in-house, bespoke software to execute various day-to-day lending analyses and processes. This software is expected to significantly enhance their operating efficiency and scalability, contributing to future growth.\n\nThey are now looking to accelerate the development of this software by adding a Software Developer to their current team of 3. This role is backend-focused but will require frontend skills. You will have the opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders in the company.\n\nDay-to-day of the role:\n\nDevelop and implement frontend and backend components for bespoke software.\n\nCollaborate with co-founders and other team members to define software requirements and take the lead on operational and technical projects.\n\nUtilise React and Next.js for modern web application development.\n\nUse Node.js and related tools for effective backend development.\n\nDesign and implement effective UIs with a focus on user experience, using TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS.\n\nIntegrate frontend and backend aspects of the application using RESTful APIs.\n\nParticipate in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.\n\nEnsure software quality by incorporating best practices in testing, including TDD.Required Skills & Qualifications:\n\nStrong experience with React and Next.js.\n\nProficiency in Node.js and related web development tools.\n\nProven ability in UI development and design, focusing on clean, intuitive user interfaces.\n\nProficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.\n\nSolid understanding of CSS, styling libraries, and modern styling approaches.\n\nWorking knowledge of RESTful APIs and frontend-backend integration.\n\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines.\n\nUnderstanding of testing practices, including TDD.Nice to have:\n\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.\n\nExperience with Python/Fast API for backend development.\n\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools.\n\nAwareness or exposure to Model Context Protocol.\n\nExperience working with Figma or collaborating from design files.\n\nExposure to AI agents or agent-based workflows.Benefits:\n\nCompetitive salary based on experience.\n\nOpportunity to work on transformative technology in a dynamic environment.\n\nExposure to critical and strategic projects.\n\nProfessional growth and development opportunities.To apply for this Software Developer position, please submit your CV to be immediately considered for this role",
