  "job_description": "Full Stack Developer (Python) - SC Cleared\n\nHybrid - 2 Days per Week Onsite in Leeds\n\nWe're supporting a secure-sector organisation seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong Python expertise to join a high-performing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, shaping scalable solutions, and contributing to a collaborative, modern technical environment.\n\nYou'll work across the full development lifecycle - designing, building, and maintaining high-quality applications - while helping to guide best practices and support junior engineers. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a mission-driven setting where engineering excellence is valued.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n• Designing and developing high-quality, scalable software using modern Python frameworks.\n• Contributing to front-end development using JavaScript and contemporary UI technologies.\n• Building and optimising SQL-based data solutions.\n• Working with cloud technologies and infrastructure-as-code tooling.\n• Creating automated, test-driven, and secure solutions that follow industry best practice.\n• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver effective, reliable products.\n• Supporting and mentoring junior developers to promote continuous improvement.\nWhat We're Looking For\n• Active SC Clearance (mandatory).\n• Strong commercial experience with Python and modern back-end frameworks.\n• Confident working across the full stack, including front-end tooling.\n• Experience with cloud services (AWS preferred) and containerisation.\n• Knowledge of SQL and database optimisation.\n• Solid understanding of software design principles and development best practices.\n• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.\nLocation & Working Pattern\n• 2 days per week onsite in Leeds (non-negotiable due to project requirements).\n• Hybrid / flexible working for remaining days.\nWhy This Role?\n\nYou'll join a supportive, forward-thinking environment where you can influence technical direction, shape modern engineering practices, and work on meaningful projects that contribute to critical national-level outcomes.\n\nReasonable Adjustments:\n\nRespect and equality are core values to us.
