  "job_description": "We are seeking a capable Full Stack Developer to strengthen our internal software development capability and provide long-term continuity across key systems.\n\nThis role will assume ownership of day-to-day web software development and support activities, enabling senior engineering leadership to transition away from operational software delivery and focus on engineering strategy, architecture, people development, and cross-disciplinary leadership.\n\nThe role supports software used in industrial machinery, control systems, telematics, and internal engineering platforms.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSoftware Development\n• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications supporting industrial control, telematics, and internal engineering systems\n• Take ownership of existing software platforms, including ongoing enhancements and maintenance\n• Develop and maintain APIs, databases, and system integrations\n• Support data handling, diagnostics, and reporting tools\n\nCollaboration & Engineering Integration\n• Work closely with embedded software, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams\n• Translate engineering and operational requirements into stable, maintainable software solutions\n• Support cross-functional engineering projects and product development initiatives\n\nQuality, Documentation & Support\n• Produce and maintain technical documentation to support system continuity and knowledge transfer\n• Follow established coding standards, version control, and development best practices\n• Support troubleshooting, fault resolution, and continuous improvement activities\n\nContinuous Improvement\n• Identify opportunities to improve the performance, reliability, and usability of software systems\n• Contribute to the evolution of internal development tools and processes\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\nEssential\n• Full right to work in the UK\n• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role\n• Strong back-end development experience (Golang, Linux, AWS, Docker)\n• Front-end development experience using modern frameworks (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue, or similar)\n• Experience with REST APIs, databases (SQL), and version control systems (e.g. SVN/GIT)\n• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary engineering team\n• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\n\nDesirable\n• Experience in an engineering, industrial, or manufacturing environment\n• Exposure to telematics, IoT, or data-driven systems\n• Understanding of embedded systems or control system interfaces\n• Experience in maintaining and improving legacy software platforms\n\nPersonal Attributes\n• Practical and delivery-focused\n• Comfortable working in a hands-on engineering environment\n• Able to manage priorities and work across multiple systems\n• Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\nWhat We Offer\n• A key role within an engineering-led organisation developing real-world industrial systems\n• Direct collaboration with senior engineers and cross-disciplinary teams\n• A stable, long-term position with clear purpose and impact\n• Competitive salary based on experience\n\nPlease note: all candidates must have full right to work in the UK.
