If you too want to be a Maxonian and help bring to market the finest software products for 2D and 3D visual effects, motion graphics, games, AR/MR/VR, visualization and general design, let’s talk.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to lead the creation of advanced plugins for CAD/BIM Software (e.g. Vectorworks, Revit, Archicad, Sketchup) that connect directly with Maxon Redshift, enabling bidirectional data exchange. The goal: allow architects to export complex BIM and scene data into Redshift for high-quality rendering and visualization, while syncing changes from Redshift — such as asset placement, material replacement, and lighting adjustments — back into the CAD model.\n\nIn this position you will:\n• Architect and develop existing and new plugins for Maxon Redshift to connect to CAD/BIM software for Architectural Visualization.\n• Implement real-time sync so design changes flow seamlessly in both directions between CAD and Redshift.\n• Handle translation of geometry, textures, material properties, vegetation/asset libraries, and lighting data.\n• Ensure exceptional performance for large-scale architectural projects.\n• Collaborate with UX, product management, and developers from other teams to deliver intuitive user workflows.\n• Mentor junior developers and maintain high coding standards.\n\nWhat we are looking for:\n• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\n• Expert-level proficiency in C++ with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software.\n• Proven experience building plugins or integrations for CAD/BIM software or other 3D DCCs.\n• Experienced in C#, .NET or relevant languages for CAD plugin development.\n• Experience with rendering software – ideally Redshift, but also other relevant tools (e.g. Unreal Engine, Unity, V-Ray) – is a plus.\n• Solid understanding of BIM/3D geometry handling, material systems, and asset management.\n• Knowledge of CAD/architectural workflows.\n• Excellent debugging, optimization, and performance tuning skills.\n\nBENEFITS:\n\nWe want you to feel comfortable with us - not just during working hours, but every second.
