  "job_description": "Position: Senior Electrical Engineer\n\nSalary: £60,000 - £65,000 Depending on Experience\n\nLocation: Cambridge - Onsite\n\nProactive are currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical/Electronic Engineer to help develop the next generation of our clients products. As Senior Electrical/Electronics Engineer you will be responsible for the design and development of electrical and electronic circuitry to support the manufacturing and systems development processes.\n\nResponsibilities:\n• Lead electrical designs for new equipment.\n• Creation, modification, maintenance and management of electrical designs including proof of concept.\n• Provide electronic design support to our Custom Engineering team.\n• Liaise with sub-contract suppliers of electrical\n• Support existing electrical equipment.\n• Work with other members of the Innovation and Engineering teams\n\nKnowledge and Experience: Essential\n• A degree (or equivalent) in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.\n• Experience of power electronic designs.\n• Fault-finding of electrical and electronic circuitry.\n• Strong written and verbal communication skills.\n• Excellent team player.\n• A willingness to travel and the ability to be flexible in the work you carry out and area you work in.\n• Attention to detail and a quality driven mentality. Desirable\n• Experience of working with complex electromechanical systems.\n• Understanding of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and control panel design.\n• Use of EPlan Electric P8 software.\n\nWe look for motivated, open-minded people who are creative, embrace innovation and bring imagination to their work.
