  "job_description": "Senior Structural Engineer\nJob Type: Full-time, Office-based\n\nThis role involves acting as the Project Engineer and assisting in the management of small to large scale projects across new residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.\n\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for directing, coordinating, and supervising junior staff, as well as managing design calculations, resources, and budgets for various projects.\n\nAct as the Project Engineer for small to large scale civil or building projects.\nDirect, coordinate, and supervise junior staff employed on the project.\nLiaise with the Project Director to discuss specialist advice and appropriate design models.\nConduct civil and structural engineering surveys/assessments of existing structures and prepare technical reports.\nAssist in the preparation of schedules of work, bills of quantities, and conditions of contract for civil engineering works.\nPerform site inspections during construction to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications.\nLiaise directly with clients, councils, authorities, and other professionals involved in the project.\nAssist in the day-to-day management of the office and actively market the practice to procure commissions.\n\nProven experience as a Structural Engineer, ideally within a similar role.\nExcellent project management skills and experience in supervising junior staff.\nCommitment to continuous professional development.\nKnowledge of relevant software and compliance with Quality and Environmental policies.\n\nCompetitive salary.\nOpportunities for professional development and training.\nTo apply for this Structural Engineer position, please submit your CV detailing your relevant experience and why you are interested in this role.",
