Provides on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers. Performs field startup and system commissioning tasks as well as the remote installation of software and control programs.\n\nPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities:\n• *\nCreates programming logic through multiple communications protocols.\n• *\nProvide coaching and training to Team Members in the use of the control software and analytical tools where applicable.\n• *\nRequired to perform job-site system checkout, commissioning and testing of control applications, to verify proper operation according to project specifications, sales proposal and design documentation. Up to 50% travel (25% travel expected)\n• *\nPrograms control applications using various software using various software tools to support operator workstations, DDC field panels and third-party integration devices connected through multiple communications protocols.\n• *\nProvides remote technical support to installers and customers. May be asked to provide on-site technical support to installers and customers.\n• *\nArticulates resolution to a customer’s problem clearly both in verbal and written communication. The resolutions must be explained to the customer in a format that is understandable to the customer. Facilitates resolutions that are in the best interest of the customer and ESI.\n• *\nDevelops system graphic displays, according to project specifications or sales proposal.\n\nPerson Specification:\n• *\nExperience in HVAC controls, mechanical systems application, or design.\n• *\nProficient in Niagara\n• *\nProficient in cloud tools like Azure ML and DF, and AWS.\n• *\nMust know programming languages such as R and Python.\n• *\nExperience in HVAC, automation system control, mechanical and automatic control applications, or a minimum of four years’ experience in a related technical field plus two years of experience in the trades and/or mechanical contracting field, or application programming and development.\n• *\nMust have worked with Tridium Niagara, understands Protocols, Bacnet Router Tables, and has worked with IDF.\n• *\nKnowledge of spreadsheets and database management; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel\n\nWhy CBRE\n\nWhen you join CBRE, you become part of the global leader in commercial real estate services and investment that helps businesses and people thrive.
