  "job_description": "Flight/Avionics Software Engineer\n\nLondon (Hybrid - 2/3 days a week)\n\n£60,000-£65,000\n\nMy client is seeking a talented Avionics/Flight Software Engineer to join the team building cutting-edge assurance systems for aerospace and robotics applications. You will play a crucial role in developing software components that enable safe and reliable operation of technology enabled robotics and autonomous systems within the Robotics product line.\n\nResponsibilities\n● Design, develop, and implement robotic software components and algorithms for\nperception, planning, control, and decision-making within the Robotics product.\n● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including embedded software engineers,\nsystems architects, and AI/ML experts, to integrate software components seamlessly\ninto the overall system.\n● Conduct rigorous testing, optimization, and validation of robotic software components\nto ensure compliance with safety and performance requirements.\n● Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's software development\nprocesses, tooling, and methodologies for robotic systems.\n\nKey Skills\n• Experience designing avionics software\n• Model based design/MATLAB/Simulink, plus languages such as C/C++, Rust\n• Experience developing safety-critical code, working with aerospace standards such as ARP4754, DO-178C, or similar\n• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong focus on robotics software development.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a deep-tech start up as they scale and grow.
