As a permanent employee of Peregrine, with access to all our standard benefits, you will be deployed across our portfolio of clients as a specialist consultant, working on a wide array of complex projects across multiple industries.\n\nSalary: £40,000 – £60,000\n\nLocation: Hybrid working (2–3 days per week on-site, West London)\n\nThe Role:\n\nWe are seeking a QA Engineer to join a high-performing, cross-functional technology team delivering solutions from initial requirements through to production deployment.\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a QA professional with 3+ years’ experience (salary dependent on experience) to work across both manual and automation testing, contributing to high-quality software delivery within a modern CI/CD environment.\n\nResponsibilities:\n• Define test strategies and test plans, ensuring traceability to specifications and customer requirements\n• Design and execute functional and non-functional test cases and scripts\n• Prepare test environments and test data to support effective test execution\n• Provide go/no-go decisions based on defined exit criteria\n• Ensure compliance with CI/CD, quality standards (SDL/STDL), and industry best practices (e.g. ISTQB)\n• Continuously maintain and improve regression test suites and CI/CD pipelines\n• Understand, maintain, and enhance the test automation framework\n• Identify opportunities to automate manual test cases\n• Develop new automation scripts and maintain existing ones\n• Raise, investigate, and manage defects, assigning appropriate severity levels\n• Validate defect fixes and support production releases\n• Investigate production issues, test fixes, and enhance test coverage accordingly\n\nSkills & Experience:\n\nEssential:\n• 3+ years’ experience in a QA / Test Engineering role or 6 years (salary dependent on experience)\n• Experience with test management and automation tools such as Octane, Playwright or Robot Framework\n• Experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman)\n• Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, PowerShell or Bash\n• Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins\n• Familiarity with code quality tools such as Sonar\n• Strong understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and best practices\n\nAbout us:\n\nAt Peregrine, we see beyond the immediate and look to the horizon.
