  "job_description": "Your role in the team\n• We are on the lookout for a Software Engineer II, Golang to join the Traffic Engineering squad on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.\n• As a Platform Engineer in a team running a global Traffic Management solution powering all Delivery Hero brands around the world, you will have a primary focus on software engineering, playing a critical role in developing and maintaining user interfaces, API and infrastructure toolings to efficiently manage traffic resources and automations.\n• Manage and optimize the Global Service Mesh, API Gateways, SSL Certificates, Domain Management, Kubernetes Traffic Resources, and Cloud Networking Resources.\n• Develop and maintain user interfaces, API, and infrastructure tooling for operating traffic resources and automations.\n• Provide technical support, ensuring seamless operation and troubleshooting of traffic engineering components.\n• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to streamline and automate infrastructure management.\n• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.\n• Actively contribute to technical discussions, bringing innovative ideas and drive technological improvements through RFCs or other tools to explain, discuss and align decisions, paving the future of our solutions.\n\nTechnologies and skills\n• Istio\n• Go\n• Kubernetes\n\nOur expectations:\n\nQualifications\n• Proficiency in managing DNS and domain configurations.\n• In-depth understanding of Kubernetes and its traffic management resources.\n• Fluent in reading and writing Golang code.\n• Competence in cloud networking concepts and configuration.\n• Passionate about crafting simple solutions to complex engineering problems and writing readable, maintainable, well-tested code.\n• Passion for new technologies and willingness to mentor and teach.\n• Previous involvement in running a tech platform.\n\nExperience\n• Hands-on experience with Service Mesh solutions (preferably Istio), API Gateways and cloud networking.\n• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and methodologies.\n• Experience in measuring, monitoring and improving latency in complex traffic platforms.\n• Hands-on Experience with the Open Application Model.\n\nBenefits\n• Day Care for Kids\n• Flexible Working Hours\n• Snacks, Sweets\n• * Fresh Fruit\n• Massage, Yoga, etc.\n• * Relocation Support",
