  "job_description": "Data Warehouse, Web Tooling & AI-Focused Project\n\nI am seeking a Junior Full Stack / SQL Developer to support the build of a structured data warehouse and web-based tooling for a growing personal project that is transitioning into a more formal development phase.\n\nThe project centres on gathering data from multiple operational systems (ERP, CRM, sales pipelines, headcount modules, etc.), transforming and storing it in a structured warehouse, and connecting it to BI and reporting tools.\nThe role will also involve building web interfaces, automation workflows, and incorporating machine learning and AI-driven functionality where appropriate.\n\nThis position is ideal for a junior developer or recent graduate looking for hands-on, end-to-end experience across data engineering, back-end and front-end development, while gaining exposure to financial modelling and real-world business systems.\nI am also open to speaking with more experienced developers if there is strong alignment\n\nContract Details\nInitial term: 3 months (with strong likelihood of extension)\nWorking pattern: 4 days per week\n\nCompensation:\n£34,000 per annum (pro rata to 4 days per week)\n\nLocation:\nUK-based candidates only\n\nWork model:\nPrimarily remote (approx. 75–80%), with occasional in-person meetings in London or Oxford\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop a structured SQL-based data warehouse\nBuild ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and transform data from multiple systems\nDevelop back-end logic and APIs using Python\nBuild responsive, user-friendly web interfaces\nIntegrate BI tools and reporting dashboards\nImplement automation workflows to streamline reporting and operational processes\nContribute to financial modelling logic within the data layer\n• Explore and implement Machine Learning and AI features, such as:\n• Forecasting and predictive modelling (e.g. revenue, headcount, pipeline trends)\n• Data anomaly detection\n• Intelligent data categorisation or enrichment\n• LLM/API integrations for automation or internal tooling\nEnsure clean, readable, well-documented and maintainable code\n\nEssential Technical Skills\n\n1- Strong working knowledge of:\nPython (data handling, APIs, automation)\nSQL (query optimisation, joins, indexing, schema design)\n\n2- Experience with:\nHTML, CSS and JavaScript\nAt least one modern front-end framework (e.g. React, Vue, or similar)\nBuilding responsive, mobile-friendly interfaces\n\n3- Experience using:\nGit (version control and collaboration)\nREST APIs\n4- Familiarity with data tools and libraries such as:\nPandas / NumPy\nSQLAlchemy or similar ORM\n5- Exposure to cloud or hosting environments (e.g. Azure, AWS, or similar)\n6- Understanding of basic ML concepts and experience with tools such as:\nscikit-learn, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks\nOpenAI or other LLM APIs (desirable)\n\nDesirable Experience\nA- Understanding of authentication, permissions and application security\nB- Experience integrating with ERP/CRM systems via API or ODBC\nOracle\nNetSuite\nMicrosoft Dynamics 365\nSalesforce\nC- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or similar)\nD- Experience working in fast-paced or startup-style environments\nE- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to take ownership\n\nPlease apply directly if interested.\nNo agencies – applications from direct candidates only please and must be based in the UK",
