  "job_description": "Senior Backend Engineer - Java\n\nLondon | Hybrid (3 days in office) | Full-time\n\nWe’re working with a seed-funded fintech startup building the infrastructure behind how money moves in real time.\n\nThe company has secured early funding and is now building out the core engineering team responsible for shaping the platform from the ground up. The product vision is clear, the early architecture is in place, and the next phase is about building and scaling the core systems that power it.\n\nThis is an opportunity to join very early in the journey, working alongside a small group of engineers where every hire plays a meaningful role in shaping the technology, product, and engineering culture.\n\nIf you enjoy building things early, solving hard engineering problems, and having real ownership over what you ship, this could be a great fit.\n\nWhat you’ll be working on\n\nYou’ll be building the backend services that power real-time financial transactions and decision-making across the platform.\n\nThe systems are distributed, event-driven, and designed to operate reliably at scale.
