  "job_description": "Senior Software Engineer | Energy Trading | Inside IR35 | £700pd | Hybrid London | 6 months\n\nOur Client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for a 6 month rolling project, working at a leading Energy Trading Client. The client has completed a big transformation project across one of the commodity trading desks and is now looking to grow again due to another market growing and needing significant investment in the trading systems.\n\nFor this role having previous trading experience is going to be helpful however if you do not it is not a deal breaker.\n\nContract Details:\n• Day Rate £700pd\n• Contract length - 6 months rolling\n• 3 days a week in London\n• Inside IR35\n\nMust have\n• Strong Python software engineering (not just scripting, or just data science)\n• FastAPI\n• Pydantic\n• Pandas / numpy\n• Commercial experience building systems in finance (e.g. trading, pricing, risk, PnL).\n• Experience with handling business requirements directly\n• Experience with data, i.e.\n• Data modelling\n• Data pipeline engineering\n• Reporting\n\nNice to have\n• Commodities or Utilities business domain specifically (energy, metals, gas, power, etc.)\n• Angular or another modern front-end framework.\n• Experience working closely with traders / quants / sales.\n• C# / .NET\n\nSenior Software Engineer | Energy Trading | Inside IR35 | £700pd | Hybrid London | 6 months",
