AIM is terraforming this planet with embodied robotics. We're seeking talented and passionate engineers to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing novel AI approaches that enable robots to interact with and modify the physical world. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that involve perception, navigation, planning, and control. Responsibilities • Develop and implement novel embodied AI algorithms for real world robotics • Design and conduct experiments to expand the range and quality of AI skills • Collaborate with other engineers to integrate with production systems • Cleverly leverage expert data, sim, and RL for scalable skill acquisition • Stay up-to-date on the latest advances in AI and robotics Qualifications • Strong track record landing production systems in the real world (e.g., manufacturing robots, AVs, humanoid robots, warehouse robots) • Expertise in modern AI approaches to robotics such as end-to-end learning, self-supervision, representation learning, zero-shot and one-shot learning • Deep understanding of deep learning, reinforcement learning, and computer vision • Experience with production Python • Experience with simulation frameworks (e.g., Omniverse) • Excellent communication and teamwork skills Joining AIM, you will • Solve a massive set of real-world problems that require scalable earth moving • Accomplish that via deploying and expanding cutting edge tech • Run your workstreams with the largest degree of autonomy • Have an opportunity for rapid growth and a large voice on the direction of the company • Receive company funded medical, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, gourmet food & perks • Experience a strong onsite collaboration (AIM offices, labs and proving grounds on the east side of the Greater Seattle area) • Have an opportunity to travel to unique sites around the world (Americas, Australia, Africa & more) AIM is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employers.
