Then it seems like you’d make a phenomenal addition to our vibrant team.\n\nSiemens Software, a business unit of the Siemens Digital Industries, is a leading global provider of software solutions to drive the digital transformation of industry, crafting new opportunities for manufacturers to realize innovation.\nAbout the role:\n\nWork within the development team to extend and expand upon the extensive statistical, time series and machine learning capabilities of our data analytics portfolio.\nWhat you’ll bring:\n• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, physics, computer science or other numerical technical discipline\n• A minimum of 4 years of experience writing high quality C++ code for enterprise applications\n• Understanding higher level mathematical and statistical research papers and then implementing those algorithms or methods in code in a robust and scalable manner\n• Logical problem‑solving approach and the ability to clearly communicate the situation and proposed solutions to the wider team\n• Familiarity with statistical, econometric time series, machine learning or other mathematical algorithms and their uses\n• Master’s or PhD degree in mathematical discipline\n• A minimum of 6 years of experience in a software engineering or research environment is a plus\n• Cross‑platform development experience\n• Experience with other programming languages in the data analytics and numerical space (Matlab/R/Python/SAS language)\n• Highly self‑motivated to learn\n• Commercial awareness & attention to detail\n• Logical problem‑solving skills, ability to demonstrate solutions coherently\n• Excellent interpersonal and team‑working skills\n• Good oral and written communication skills in fluent English\n• Self‑motivation and strong organizational skills\nWorking at Siemens Software\n\nSiemens is not the same manufacturing company as the past.
