Title: Salesforce Business Analyst Location: Hybrid - (2-3 days per week onsite in London) Contract: 6-12 months rolling IR35: Inside IR35 Budget: £300 - £400 per day, all inclusive This is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days per week onsite in London, and sits inside IR35. Important requirement Salesforce Field Service experience is mandatory. Candidates must have project-based experience with Salesforce Field Service (FSL - Field Service Lightning). If a candidate does not have clear FSL/Salesforce Field Service experience on projects, they will be rejected. This is a non-negotiable requirement for the role. The role You will act as the link between the business and Salesforce delivery teams, helping define, document, and support the implementation of business processes and functional solutions across the Salesforce platform. A key part of the role will involve working on Salesforce Field Service/Field Service Lightning (FSL), so candidates must be comfortable operating in field operations/service-led environments and translating business needs into clear functional requirements. Key responsibilities • Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements • Run workshops with business stakeholders, SMEs, and delivery teams • Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and functional documentation • Work closely with Salesforce admins, developers, architects, and testers • Support design discussions across Salesforce solutions, with a particular focus on Salesforce Field Service (FSL - Field Service Lightning) • Help define and improve field service processes such as scheduling, work orders, service appointments, dispatch, and operational workflows • Support UAT, defect triage, business readiness, and release activity • Ensure solutions are aligned to business goals and operational needs • Manage stakeholders across business and technology teams in a fast-paced delivery environment Essential experience • Proven experience working as a Salesforce Business Analyst • Strong experience working on Salesforce projects in enterprise environments • Mandatory project experience with Salesforce Field Service (FSL - Field Service Lightning) • Strong requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, and documentation skills • Experience producing: • user stories • acceptance criteria • process flows • functional requirements • UAT scenarios • Ability to work closely with both business stakeholders and Salesforce technical teams • Strong understanding of Salesforce delivery life cycles and Agile ways of working • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Salesforce certifications Highly desirable • Experience across wider Salesforce clouds such as Service Cloud or Sales Cloud • Previous experience in service-led, operational, or field-based environments • Experience supporting large-scale transformation or business change programmes
