About the Core Solution Design team Our team focuses on the core architectural and functional foundations of Deel’s native payroll engine. We ensure that our platform provides the best tools, features, and capabilities for a wide range of users — from country build teams and payroll managed services, to customer HR/payroll teams and employees/managers. We design and maintain scalable solutions that accelerate country localization, ensure compliant payrolls, boost operational efficiency, and drive innovation in the world of payroll. The Solution Designer is the key liaison between commercial and development teams ensuring the successful delivery and ongoing evolution of the DLP product. The Solution Designer leads complex solution efforts and ensures features and enhancements deliver maximum customer value with efficiency. Responsibilities: • Support the creation of BRDs and complex process flows; review and guide others’ documentation. • Accurately document user stories on Azure DevOps for development teams. • Produce and manage written requirements specifications. • Work closely with development teams to conceptualise and design solutions. • Ensure smooth transition of solutions into production, supporting change-management. • Provide consultative expertise internally and externally. • Establish and enforce best practices, frameworks, and reusable assets to improve SD efficiency. • Work closely with QA on story definition and test plans. • Proficiently use of Figma (or similar) to design and communicate complex features. Skills and Competencies • 3+ years’ experience as a Systems Business Analyst or Solution Designer • Proven experience and/or qualification in UX/UI design • Basic proficiency in SQL and data analysis is required • Proven expertise in designing scalable, complex system solutions • Experience in designing wireframes and/or prototypes • Experience working with software using .NET framework is beneficial • Forward-thinking, with the ability to align design to long-term product strategy • Formal certification in Business Analysis or Informatics will be beneficial but not essential • Experience in payroll or financial software will be considered an advantage Total Rewards Our workforce deserves fair and competitive pay that meets them where they are.
