  "job_description": "Location: Greater London\n\nJoin Flock as a Full Stack Engineer within our Safety Team, where you'll play a pivotal role in building the next generation of our telemetry and safety data platform.\nWHAT WE THINK IS MOST EXCITING\n\nABOUT THE ROLE:\n\nImpactful Front-End Work in a Data-Rich Environment\n\nYou’ll lead the development of powerful, user-friendly features in our customer Portal using React. As we unlock new levels of insight through a brand-new telemetry ingestion pipeline, your work will directly shape how millions of GPS data points are surfaced, visualized, and interacted with by our customers.\nWork at the Intersection of Data and UX\n\nPartner closely with data engineers, backend developers, and product managers to transform complex datasets into intuitive and performant interfaces. You’ll be a key bridge between raw telemetry data and the customer-facing safety insights we provide.\n\nLeverage AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, and Event Bridge to build scalable, event-driven systems. While this is a full-stack role, you’ll have ample opportunity to expand and apply your AWS knowledge in a production environment.\nOwnership and Autonomy\n\nYou’ll own the delivery of features from ideation to deployment. Your work will have a direct and visible impact on how our customers manage fleet safety and understand real-world risks.\nA LITTLE MORE ON WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:\nFront-End Engineering & Feature Delivery\n• Design, implement, and iterate on scalable, intuitive UIs using React (Type Script).\n• Build dynamic data visualizations and user interfaces that bring high-volume telemetry data to life.\nAPI-Driven Development\n• Integrate with and contribute to the development of RESTful APIs exposed via API Gateway.\n• Collaborate with backend engineers to shape APIs that efficiently serve data-intensive views.\n• Use your AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Event Bridge, Cloud Watch) to support and extend the telemetry data ingestion and delivery pipeline.\n• Work with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CDK for provisioning long-lived resources.\n• Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to scope, deliver, and test features.\n• Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in our Agile process.\nCode Quality & Mentorship\n• Write high-quality, well-tested code and contribute to code reviews.\n• Share your knowledge and support the growth of junior engineers in the squad.\n#J-18808-Ljbffr",
