Our people enjoy challenging themselves to be the best at what they do – if that sounds like you, you'll fit right in!\n\nRequirements\n\nRole Objectives:\n• Develop software to meet user needs\n• Follow best-practice guidelines and help to improve those guidelines\n• Write clean, secure and well-tested code\n• Coach and mentor junior colleagues\n• Engage with other members in an Agile team to improve software and outcomes\n\nWays of working:\n• Demonstrable experience working in Agile teams\n• Demonstrable experience working on product development environments based on observation, experimentation and user research\n• Demonstrable experience working in multi-disciplinary/DevOps teams which include product owner/manager, UX designers, UX researchers, Developers, Platform engineers, etc\n• Demonstrable experience working on continuous integration environments\n\nRequirements\n\nCoding and testing:\n• Strong REACT experience\n• HTML / CSS / JavaScript\n• TypeScript\n• Testing experience-(Unit testing/End to End testing - e.g Jest/NightwatchJS etc)\n• Experience with AA Standard accessibility\n• Experience with restful API’s\n• Experience developing for all major currently used browsers e.g Chrome, Edge etc.\n• Strong performance optimisation awareness\n\nNice to have skills:\n• Working with UK Government or public sector\n• AWS\n• Building component libraries\n• Appreciation of security principals\n• Demonstration of scalability and reusability\n• An appreciation for UX\n\nYou don’t meet all the requirements?\n\nStudies show that women and black, Asian and minority ethnic people are less likely to apply for a job unless they meet every qualification.
