Therefore, this is a role which sits in a team interfacing with most of the products that Dojo offers. The team is building a new home for Dojo's products. Where our customers can discover them and buy them. Think payment device management, transaction access, restaurant and reservations operations, loyalty schemes, and many more.\n\nJoin the Customer Apps Embedded Finance team and help shape the next generation of financial experiences for Dojo’s merchants. Over the next few quarters, we’re building a suite of tools around Takings, Transfers, Billing, Rewards, and Cashflow — bringing together payment data, funding insights, and financial health features into one seamless experience.\n\nWhat you will do...\n• Technically design and develop new product features using modern front end technologies\n• Write high quality code that is well-tested and maintainable\n• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions and team planning\n• Work with design and product to define user experience and technical requirements\n• Attend and participate in the Web Chapter, contributing to a collaborative web engineering culture at Dojo\n• Mentor and train junior colleagues in modern best practices.\n\nWhat you will bring...\n• Expert knowledge of React, TypeScript, Next.js\n• Deep understanding of modern frontend architecture (state management, component patterns, hooks, etc.)\n• Experience with web testing frameworks (e.g. Vitest, Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, Cypress)\n• Experience with CSS-in-JS libraries (e.g. Vanilla Extract, Emotion, Styled Components)\n• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control (e.g. Git)\n• Experience contributing to a centralised Design System or component library (e.g. Storybook)\n• Knowledge of backend APIs (we use GraphQL) and how they integrate with frontend systems\n• Passion for product quality and user experience\n• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally\n\nNice to have...\n• An eye for visual design\n• Experience with Chromatic, a visual testing and review tool\n• Deep knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices (e.g. WCAG and WAI-ARIA)\n• Exposure to analytics and user behaviour tracking\n• Experience with observability tools (e.g. Sentry, LogRocket)\n\nDojo home and away\n\nWe believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person.
