This role focuses on end-user support, system administration, and infrastructure maintenance. While networking is not a core responsibility, foundational knowledge is considered desirable.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nEnd-User Support\n\nProvide 1st to 3rd line support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and applications.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and user access.\n\nAssist with onboarding/offboarding processes including device setup and account provisioning.\n\nSystem Administration\n\nManage and maintain Windows-based systems including user accounts, permissions, and policies.\n\nAdminister Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.\n\nPerform routine updates, patching, and system health checks.\n\nExperience with Linux-based systems would be advantageous.\n\nDevice & Asset Management\n\nDeploy and configure new hardware and software for internal users.\n\nMaintain accurate inventory of IT assets and ensure lifecycle management.\n\nSupport and manage Apple and Android mobile devices, including MDM solutions.\n\nSecurity & Compliance\n\nEnforce endpoint protection policies and monitor for security alerts.\n\nSupport compliance with internal IT policies and external regulations (e.g. Cyber Essentials, ISO27001).\n\nAssist with audits and documentation of IT procedures.\n\nDocumentation & Process Improvement\n\nCreate and maintain internal documentation for systems and support procedures.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve IT processes and user experience.\n\nKey Requirements\nProficiency in:\n\nWindows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 suite\n\nActive Directory & Group Policy\n\nDevice imaging and deployment tools (e.g., Intune, Autopilot)\n\nEndpoint protection and patch management\n\nApple and Android mobile device support and management\n\nBasic PowerShell scripting for automation\n\nExperience with:\n\nService desk platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)\n\nRemote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk)\n\nSoftware deployment and license management\n\nDesirable Knowledge:\n\nBasic networking concepts (e.g., IP addressing, DNS, VPNs)\n\nLinux-based system administration\n\nWhy come and work with us at Systal?\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\n\nUnrivalled training and development, ensuring you stay at the top of your field.
