  "job_description": "Description\n\nAs a Graduate IT Engineer at Systal, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's internal IT systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for all staff. This role focuses on end-user support, system administration, and infrastructure maintenance. While networking is not a core responsibility, foundational knowledge is considered desirable.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nEnd-User Support\n• Provide 1st to 3rd line support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and applications.\n• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and user access.\n• Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes including device setup and account provisioning.\n\nSystem Administration\n• Manage and maintain Windows-based systems including user accounts, permissions, and policies.\n• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.\n• Perform routine updates, patching, and system health checks.\n• Experience with Linux-based systems would be advantageous.\n\nDevice & Asset Management\n• Deploy and configure new hardware and software for internal users.\n• Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and ensure lifecycle management.\n• Support and manage Apple and Android mobile devices, including MDM solutions.\n\nSecurity & Compliance\n• Enforce endpoint protection policies and monitor for security alerts.\n• Support compliance with internal IT policies and external regulations (e.g., Cyber Essentials, ISO27001).\n• Assist with audits and documentation of IT procedures.\n\nDocumentation & Process Improvement\n• Create and maintain internal documentation for systems and support procedures.\n• Identify opportunities to improve IT processes and user experience.\n\nKey Requirements\n\nProficiency in:\n• Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 suite\n• Active Directory & Group Policy\n• Device imaging and deployment tools (e.g., Intune, Autopilot)\n• Endpoint protection and patch management\n• Apple and Android mobile device support and management\n• Basic PowerShell scripting for automation\n\nExperience with:\n• Service desk platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)\n• Remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk)\n• Software deployment and license management\n\nDesirable Knowledge:\n• Basic networking concepts (e.g., IP addressing, DNS, VPNs)\n• Linux-based system administration\n\nWhy come and work with us at Systal?\n• Competitive salary and benefits package.\n• Unrivalled training and development, ensuring you stay at the top of your field.
