  "job_description": "React / TypeScript Developer – Contract &##128205; Canary Wharf, London (4 days onsite)\n• ##128176; £500 per day (Inside IR35)\n• ##128197; 6 Month Contract\n\nWe are currently working with a consultancy that is looking to bring an experienced React / TypeScript Developer on board for an initial 6-month contract . This role will involve working closely with engineering teams to build high-quality front-end solutions and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the platform.\nThis is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone who enjoys building scalable front-end systems while contributing to engineering best practices and team culture.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop high-quality React components and ensure seamless integration with backend systems to enable efficient data exchange.\nContinuously review services and components, identifying opportunities to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.\nProactively identify and address technical debt .\nContribute to and influence the product roadmap , helping to deliver improvements that drive key business KPIs.\nSupport the development of the team’s software engineering capabilities and standards .\nPromote a strong engineering culture focused on high-quality code, testing, and best practices .\n\nExperience & Background\n• 4+ years of relevant software engineering experience.\n• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with senior stakeholders.\n• A self-starter who can operate effectively in ambiguous environments , identify risks, and drive solutions forward.\n\nTechnical Skills\nStrong hands-on experience building applications using React and TypeScript .\nSolid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles.\nGood understanding of computational complexity and performance considerations .\nExperience working across the full software development lifecycle , including:\nCoding standards\nCode reviews\nSource control management\nCI/CD and continuous deployment\nTesting and operational best practices\nExperience with Test Driven Development (TDD) .\nExposure to cloud deployments and Agile development methodologies .",
